CAVEAT

This database is composed of short film reviews written for the TV pages of the Sunday Telegraph between 2002 and the present day. The style, content and length of each review have largely been dictated by editorial requirements, space restrictions, deadlines and the vagaries of television schedules, hence such eccentricities as Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid getting twice as much space as, say, Citizen Kane.

Since the reviews reproduced here were written over a ten-year period, sharp-eyed readers are likely to spot a great many self-plagiarisms, inconsistencies and evidence of limited vocabulary. I have tried to retro-edit out some of the excessive a-go-gos and aplentys and fabulouses, but anyone reading more than a couple of reviews at a single sitting should be prepared to encounter a certain amount of repetition.
